NPPD National Cybersecurity Division Announces Grant Opportunity
The DHS National Cybersecurity Division (NCSD) of the National Protection and Programs Directorate recently announced the National Cyber Security Awareness grant opportunity. The application deadline is Thursday, July 5, 2012.
NCSD aims to enhance coordination and collaboration among appropriate private sector and non-profit organizations as well as federal, state, and local government entities to facilitate a comprehensive national cyber security awareness campaign including specific programs, activities, audience-specific awareness materials and outreach efforts, expansion of the Stop. Think. Connect. Campaign, as well as support for National Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October.
Eligible applicants are public and state-controlled institutions of higher education, nonprofits, 501(c)(3) organizations, and private institutions of higher education.
