DNDO Releases Acquisition and Commercial Engagement Strategy
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) has released the Acquisition and Commercial Engagement Strategy, a commercial first approach to develop or procure new technologies. With rapid growth of technological advancements, and a substantial loss in government resources, DNDO is transitioning from government development of materiel solutions to industry development.
DNDO is working with the DHS Commercialization Office to establish the criteria for evaluation of potential partners.
