DHS Loaned Executive Program Welcomes Harry Silver of Goldman SachsThis week, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Loaned Executive Program, welcomed Harry Silver to serve as senior advisor for the Office of Infrastructure Protection in the National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD).
Mr. Silver is a managing director with over 25 years of experience in building and leading a range of global operational and risk management teams and capabilities These include resilience planning and drilling, crisis management, work force and facilities security, and vendor risk management. He will provide constructive feedback regarding efforts to improve public-private partnerships, initially working closely with the Sector Outreach and Programs Division of NPPD located in Arlington, VA.
The Loaned Executive Program is a special, unpaid opportunity that provides top executive-level talent from the private sector an opportunity to share their expertise with DHS to fill special, discrete needs. Through the program DHS provides top executives a unique professional development opportunity in the federal government’s third largest agency.
