CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Caterpillar, Inc., Mossville, Ill., was awarded a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $776,000,000 for procurement of commercial type construction equipment. Other locations of performance are in England, North Carolina, Illinois, France, Belgium, Japan, Georgia, Minnesota, Italy, Arkansas, Iowa, South Carolina, Indiana, and Ireland. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. There were 15 solicitations with 15 responses. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 through 2017 Defense Working Capital Funds. The date of performance completion is May 23, 2017. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM8EC-12-D-0008).
Science Application International Corp., Fairfield, N.J., was issued a modification exercising the seventh option year on contract SPM500-04-D-BP06/P00032. The award is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum $107,466,961 for maintenance, repair and operations for supplies. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. There were six responses to the Web solicitation. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Defense Working Capital Funds. The date of performance completion is May 30, 2013. NAVY
Allied Industries, Inc.*, North Hollywood, Calif. (N44255-12-D-7003); Bristol General Contractors, L.L.C.*, Anchorage, Alaska (N44255-12-D-7004); Macnak-Saybr, J.V.1*, Lakewood, Wash. (N44255-12-D-7005); Newton-Severson 8(a), J.V.*, Bremerton, Wash. (N44255-12-D-7006); Pacific NICC, J.V., L.L.C.*, Anchorage, Alaska (N44255-12-D-7007); and Pacific Tech Construction, Inc.*, Kelso, Wash. (N44255-12-D-7008) are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for construction projects located primarily within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Northwest area of responsibility (AOR). The maximum dollar value for all six contracts, including the base period and two option years, is a combined $75,000,000. The work to be performed provides for new construction, renovation, alteration, demolition and repair work by design-build or by design-bid-build of facilities located primarily within the NAVFAC Northwest area of responsibility. Types of projects include, but are not limited to, administrative and industrial facilities, housing renovation, child care centers, lodges, recreation/fitness centers, retail complexes, warehouses, housing offices, community centers, commercial and institutional buildings, manufacturing and industrial buildings and other similar facilities. Pacific Tech Construction is being awarded task order 0001 at $255,918 for R-16 Replace 20x48 Line Shack with Building at Naval Air Station, Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, Wash. Work for this task order is expected to be completed by March 2013. Contract funds in the amount of $330,918 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. All work on this contract will be performed primarily within the NAVFAC Northwest AOR, which includes: Washington (92 percent), Oregon (2 percent), Alaska (2 percent), Idaho (1 percent), Montana (1 percent), and Wyoming (1 percent). Work may also be performed in the remainder of the United States (1 percent). The term of the contract is not to exceed 36 months, with an expected completion date of May 23, 2015. Contract funds for the five guaranteed minimum task orders, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Contract funds in the amount of $255,918 for task order 0001 expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website or the NAVFAC e-solicitation websitewith 26 proposals received. These six contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Northwest, Silverdale, Wash., is the contracting activity.
M7 Aerospace, L.L.C., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded an $11,677,286 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery requirements contract (N00019-11-D-0002) to exercise an option for logistics support for 12 Navy/Marine Corps UC-35 aircraft and seven Navy C-26 aircraft located at nine global locations. Services to be provided include organizational and depot-level maintenance, parts, support equipment maintenance, and engineering support. No funding will be obligated at time of award. Work will be performed at the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Barking Sands, Hawaii (14 percent); Marine Corp Air Station (MCAS), Futenma, Japan (13 percent); Andrews Air Force Base, Md. (11 percent); Fleet Marine Reserve Detachment, Belle Chase, La. (10 percent); Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy (10 percent); Naval Support Activity, Naples, Italy (10 percent); San Antonio, Texas (9 percent); MCAS Miramar, Calif. (8 percent); MCAS Cherry Point, N.C. (8 percent); and Al Udeid, Qatar (7 percent). Work is expected to be completed by May 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Universal Technical Resource Services, Cherry Hill, N.J., is being awarded a $16,690,562 firm-fixed-price with cost reimbursable contracting line item numbers to support Integrated Safety Information Systems development and implementation processes, including military flight operations quality assurance and Aviation Safety Action Program analysis capabilities. The location of the performance is Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. Work is to be completed by May 31, 2017. AFNWC/PKOC, Albuquerque, N.M., is the contracting activity (FA9401-12-C-0009).
Zeecor, Oceanside, Calif., is being awarded a $15,553,430 firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials contract to acquire folding fiberglass mat rapid runway repair kits, including all the necessary support hardware kits. The location of the performance is Oceanside, Calif. Work is to be completed by Dec. 31, 2014. ASC/PKT, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8630-12-C-5045).
