Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service, appointment and reassignments:
Robert T. Jennings has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service and is assigned as director, investment and acquisition management, Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer, Washington, D.C. Jennings previously served as supervisory management analyst, Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer, Washington, D.C.
Matthew Beebe has been assigned as deputy director, Defense logistics Agency acquisition, Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va. Beebe previously served as executive director, operational contract support, Fort Belvoir, Va.
Edward Case has been assigned as vice director, Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va. Case previously served as director, Defense Logistics Agency information operations, Fort Belvoir, Va.
Amanda Dory has been assigned as deputy assistant secretary of defense for African affairs, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Policy), Washington, D.C. Dory previously served as deputy assistant secretary of defense for strategy, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Policy), Washington, D.C.
Michael Dumont has been assigned as foreign relations defense policy manager (deputy chief of staff for stability operations, International Security Assistance Force Joint Command), Kabul, Afghanistan. Dumont previously served as foreign relations defense policy manager (defense advisor, U.S. European Command), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Policy), Washington, D.C.
