Assistant Secretary for Educational and Cultural Affairs Ann Stock will travel to Madrid, Spain March 27-30 to meet with senior government and civil society leaders to discuss international exchanges and public-private partnerships.
On March 27, she will speak at the Service Innovation Summit hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Spain, Meridian International Center, and the Rafael del Pino Foundation. The Summit will convene leaders from government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors in Spain, Europe, and from around the world to explore innovations in volunteerism and service as a solution to address unemployment and economic development.
During her visit, Assistant Secretary Stock will meet with the Spanish Fulbright Commission and highlight the impact of the Fulbright Program as the Department of State’s flagship international educational exchange program. She will meet with Fulbright Commission board members and EducationUSA advisors, as well as U.S. and Spanish Fulbright participants and alumni.
