U.S. EPA to Receive Unprecedented Private Sector Research Funding
from Global Cosmetic Company L'Oréal

Press Conference Monday: Research to be announced in San Francisco may help end animal testing
SAN FRANCISCO -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and global cosmetic company L’Oréal will announce the details of an exciting first of its kind research collaboration aimed at creating alternatives to traditional animal-based toxicity tests on Monday, March 12th during the annual Society of Toxicology press conference.

WHEN: Monday March 12, 2012, 11:45 AM Pacific Time


Members of the media: To gain access to the Society of Toxicology Conference where the press conference will take place, media must RSVP to Mary Simms via email at simms.mary@epa.gov in advance to participate. Please include your name, media affiliation and full contact information in your RSVP.
