LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Two advertisers have cut ties with the nationally syndicated "Rush Limbaugh Show" after the conservative talk-show host called an activist for women's contraception a "slut," news reports said Friday. Select Comfort Corp. , which makes the "Sleep Number" bed, was the second advertiser to pull out of the program, following on the heels of a mattress retailer, Sleep Train Mattress Stores, according to MSNBC and the website Politico. The companies pulled their ads after Limbaugh called activist Sandra Fluke a "slut" after she testified that contraception coverage should be required for health insurers. The comment drew fire from across the political spectrum, as Republican House Speaker John Boehner called it "inappropriate" and Carly Fiorina, a 2010 Republican candidate for a U.S. Senate seat in California, said the remarks were "insulting."
