Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Air Force Lt. Gen. Clyde D. Moore II, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and for assignment as commander, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Moore is currently serving as vice commander, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
