CONTRACTS
NAVY
Huntington Ingalls, Inc., Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $391,797,124 cost-plus-fixed-fee, with performance incentives, fiscal 2012 contract option under an existing contract (N00024-10-C-2110) for continuation of the refueling complex overhaul advance planning efforts of USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and its reactor plants. This effort will continue to provide for advanced planning, ship checks, design, documentation, engineering, procurement, fabrication and preliminary shipyard or support facility work to prepare for and make ready for the refueling, overhaul, modernization, and routine work. Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed by February 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
Austal USA, Mobile, Ala., is being awarded a $321,725,461 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-08-C-2217) for the exercise of construction options for Joint High Speed Vessels 8 and 9. The JHSV will provide high speed, shallow draft transportation capability to support the intra-theater maneuver of personnel, supplies, and equipment for the Navy, Marine Corps, and Army. Work will be performed in Mobile, Ala. (48 percent); Pittsfield, Mass. (9 percent); Franklin, Mass. (3 percent); Philadelphia, Pa. (3 percent); Atlanta, Ga. (2 percent); Chicago, Ill. (2 percent); Gulfport, Miss. (2 percent); Slidell, La. (1 percent); Iron Mountain, Mich. (1 percent); Houston, Texas (1 percent); Dallas, Texas (1 percent); Chesapeake, Va. (1 percent); Milwaukee, Wis. (1 percent); Brookfield, Wis. (1 percent); various sites throughout the United States (5 percent); and various sites outside of the United States (19 percent). Work is expected to be completed by April 2016. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $15,450,047 modification against a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00019-06-C-0081) for a fleet common operating environment condition based maintenance plus software toolset in support of the CH-53K helicopter program. In addition, this modification includes installation, operation, and recurring data analysis utilizing the basic and advanced capabilities within the system. No funds will be obligated at the time of award. Work will be performed in Lexington Park, Md. (90 percent), and Stratford, Conn. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in February 2018. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Composite Engineering, Inc., Sacramento, Calif., is being awarded a $32,701,017 firm-fixed-price contract to procure a quantity of 35 BQM-167As, also known as the Air Force Subscale Aerial Target. The location of the performances is Sacramento, Calif. Work is expected to be completed by April 30, 2014. AAC/EBYK, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA8678-12-C-0202).
Raytheon Co., Largo, Fla., is being awarded an $8,939,173 cost-plus-fixed-fee price contract for E-4B Mod Block 1 audio infrastructure upgrade obsolescence upgrade installation, one lot. The location of the performances is Largo, Fla. Work is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2013. OC-ALC/GKSKH, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (FA8106-12-C-0003).
Harris Corp., Government Communication Systems, Palm Bay, Fla., is being awarded a $7,310,225 cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price and cost contract for one trainer system. The location of the performances is Palm Bay, Fla. Work is expected to be completed by June 28, 2013. Space and Missile Systems Center, El Segundo, Calif., is the contracting activity (FA8819-08-C-0001, P00093).
