Honda January U.S. sales rise 8.8%

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Honda Motor Co. said Wednesday U.S. January sales rose by 8.8% to 83,009 vehicles from 76,269 a year ago. January U.S. sales of the best-selling Civic jumped about 50% to 21,883 vehicles, while sales of the Fit fell 11% to 3,839 vehicles.
