leaders in Washington preparing to face mounting challenges,

Postby admin » Thu Feb 09, 2012 7:53 am

leaders in Washington preparing to face mounting challenges, many of us are asking what we can do to continue our participation.

As an actor, co-founder of the organization Voices in Harmony and long-time supporter of all the great work Hillary Clinton has done over the years, I am proud to introduce you to an organization that has given me a platform to promote my ideas and helped me empower change.

The American Democracy Institute (ADI) was founded in 2005 with the help of Hillary Clinton, who served as the chair of ADI's youth initiative that engaged over 10,000 young activists around the country. Since then, ADI has empowered leaders to -- in the words of Senator Clinton at ADI's first event-- "Expand the circle of opportunity, equality, and justice."

ADI is a national network of leaders from every sector of our society dedicated to creating positive social and political change. ADI is preparing this new generation of leaders to understand the changing nuances of policy, the power of business, and the influence of the media.

Now more than ever, I understand the need to support a space where people can be educated on the issues facing our country, build skills to be emerging leaders of our democracy, and collaborate with their peers from all sectors and industries to solve the increasingly complex challenges facing America.

At this important moment in our history, I invite you to join ADI's community of supporters and learn more about the smart, talented young people who are empowering change at the local, state, national, and global level.
