Analysis Shows Franken Catching Coleman
The Minneapolis Star Tribune has performed its own analysis of the challenged ballots in Minnesota's disputed U.S. Senate race "by relying on a virtual 'canvassing board' of more than 26,000 readers who examined at least some of them. There appeared to be widespread consensus that Al Franken (D) won slightly more disputes than Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN), enough to theoretically erase the incumbent's narrow lead by late Monday."

An independent AP analysis released yesterday also gave the edge to Franken.
