Israeli military launches air strikes on Gaza

JERUSALEM (CNN) — The Israeli military said Thursday it carried out two airstrikes overnight against targets in Gaza after militants continued to fire rockets and mortars into Israel.

One strike was on a weapons warehouse belonging to the Islamic Jihad in Jabalya, a refugee camp in northern Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces said. The second strike was on a weapons workshop in Khan Younis, a refugee camp in the southern part of the territory, the IDF said.

The Israeli military also fired toward militants launching rockets near Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza on Wednesday evening, the IDF said.
