WASHINGTON (CNN) — The man tagged to become the nation’s next secretary of health and human services from senior citizens Tuesday about what he should do to fix medical services for Americans.
Former South Dakota U.S. Sen. Tom Daschle has been collecting the suggestions at meetings with community groups across the country to help him form an action plan when the Obama administration begins.
“This is something the president-elect feels very strongly about,” Daschle told a group of District of Columbia elderly at the Congress Heights Senior Wellness Center. He heard stories from people about how the U.S. health care system needs reform.
