Please let me introduce myself. I'm Jen O'Malley Dillon -- and I'm the Iowa State Director for the John Edwards campaign.« Thread Started on Dec 6, 2007, 7:30pm » --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Please let me introduce myself. I'm Jen O'Malley Dillon -- and I'm the Iowa State Director for the John Edwards campaign. We've got momentum here in Iowa -- but I need you to help me raise $175,000 in two days to keep it going.Click here to help raise $175,000 for Iowa today.+>> http://johnedwards.com/r/47728/1277138/With just 28 days to the Iowa caucuses, it's a tight race here -- the tightest I've ever seen. The polls show -- and our experience confirms -- that more than half of those who will participate in a caucus on January 3 still have not yet decided who they're going to support. We're locked in a three-way tie for first, and the race is still wide open. What I can tell you is this: it's all going to come down to the ground game. And I wanted to let you know personally that we have the best organized ground game in Iowa. We know it, and the other campaigns know it too -- that's why they're scrambling to pour everything they've got into this state over the next 28 days. But in these final days, we're taking nothing for granted. Thousands of volunteers are going door-to-door canvassing for John Edwards, voters are opening their mailboxes to find letters and information from John, and the television spots are having a powerful impact. And you may have heard, John Edwards picked up more support on Monday when Iowa Congressman Bruce Braley announced his endorsement of John Edwards to be the next president of the United States. Rep. Braley is one of thousands of Iowans who are deciding in the final stretch that John is the candidate they want to stand with on January 3.Click here to help raise $175,000 for Iowa today.+>> http://johnedwards.com/r/47728/1277138/We need $175,000 over the next two days to print additional flyers that will reach the hundreds of thousands of people who will participate in the caucuses, and to help provide transportation for the thousands of volunteers going door-to-door to deliver those flyers and talk with voters across the state.Click here to help raise $175,000 for Iowa today.+>> http://johnedwards.com/r/47728/1277138/Every day I see, firsthand, the commitment and dedication of our volunteers and staff to getting John Edwards elected. I wish you could see our offices -- they're buzzing 24/7 and our staff might as well be living here. Every day, no matter what the weather conditions, they are hitting the pavement, talking and meeting with Iowans, urging them to support John Edwards at the caucuses. Now, with just 28 days left, we're down to the wire. Raising $175,000 over the next two days will give our volunteers and staff an enormous boost as well as expanding our outreach efforts. Will you help us?Click here to help raise $175,000 for Iowa today.+>> http://johnedwards.com/r/47728/1277138/Every dollar given now can make the difference in what happens in Iowa. With all that we've got going for us, please help us raise $175,000 today and tomorrow to help maintain our momentum.Thank you for your support!Sincerely,--Jennifer O'Malley DillonIowa State Director, John Edwards for PresidentDecember 6, 2007P.S.
