Sixty-one percent of Americans want Congress to block the government from spending money to send more troops to Iraq.And a Newsweek Poll finds that 64 percent feel Congress has not been assertive enough in challenging the Bush administration.The American people are beginning to be heard, but more is needed to stop the escalation in Iraq, and even into Iran, and to bring the war to an end.
