They provide the funding, the staff, the ads, and the talking points - you just go out and repeat it ad nauseum.Of course neither party has chosen its 2008 presidential candidate yet. On the Democratic side, that means anything could happen. It also means the campaign plan will not be written until the candidate is chosen.But that's not true on the Republican side - they already have their plan written. And on Friday, a reporter managed to persuade George Bush into revealing one key element: the main campaign message and GOP points of attack.
