WASHINGTON D.C. (CNN) -- It may not grab the headlines like the race for the White House, but the battle for the Senate is heating up. Sens. John Warner of Virginia, left, and Chuck Hagel of Nebraska's retirements open up two key Senate races.Democrats took back both houses of Congress last November, but they hold razor-thin majorities. In the Senate, they hold a 51-49 margin. Their advantage in the House is a couple of percentage points better, 233-202.
