Russell Potts (R-Clarke) has been indicted for election fraud and perjury. On May 22, according to Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney Jim Plowman, a Loudoun grand jury indicted state Senate candidate Mark Tate on two counts of election fraud and another nine for perjury. Tate is co-owner of the Coach Stop Restaurant in Middleburg and former vice mayor of the town.
