The most common complaint concerned electronic voting machine irregularities. Fifty-five voters across Kentucky expressed a variety of concerns about the new voting machines ranging from fears that votes had not been counted to allegations that votes were being switched to opposing candidates.“Kentucky Bureau of Investigation (KBI) agents worked closely with county clerks and voting machine technicians to maintain voter confidence in the new system,” Attorney General Stumbo stated. “The public has the right to demand assurances that their vote counts.”
