flip flopping is purely republican propaganda« Thread Started on Sept 30, 2004, 6:10pm » --------------------------------------------------------------------------------its perfectly normal for any leader to change his/her decision based on new events and facts that come about.. for example if a police supervisor at a scene where a particular tense potentially dangerous criminal is 'hiding out' based on intelligence information received from hq has facts based at the time that this if this is a dangerous criminal that he has been given authority to shoot on sight, he has decided at that time that this is the final decision, then in the course of events that come up, new information comes in from hq that that particular suspect is not the right one and the information about this location was false that they have already apprehended the real suspect in a different location,, then of course this new information should cause any sane and proper leader to reassess his/her position while still obviously being cautious. To continue on the course and shoot this suspect anyways ignoring the new information received from hq would be reckless, criminal and improper.A leader who reassesses his decisions if there are new facts that present themselves after the fact that are significant enough to change a decision is not 'flip flopping'. Its perfectly normal and proper for a person of authority to change their mind if circumstances and new facts require them to be changed.The criminal idiots who spin their garbage of leaders changing decisions have absolutely no integrity and are actually the ones who are incompetent, reckless and plainly stupid. Basing presidential decisions to follow one single path absolutely regardless of new facts and harming and putting human lives in danger is reckless, incompetent and actually piss poor leadership.
