But it means Bush has to lose. And nobody can afford to sit this election out. It is time to get serious. In this election, mayors have to promote and protect the vote. We know how to get out the vote - just fire up your campaign like you are running, whether or not you are.And there is plenty to fuel the fire in the news. As a mayor on the frontline of the domestic defense, I know that we can't afford to give this administration another four years. So at the same time mayors energize voters, we have to protect the vote.
