remember polls can be highly deceptive« Thread Started on May 23, 2004, 12:36am »--------------------------------------------------------------------------------dont pay much regard to polls cuz they can be skewed as theyre a sample of registered voters -- kevin, 13:19:13 01/26/04 Mon (NoHost/207.216.12.76)polls are a reflection of a group of opinion from a sample group of registered voters,, this doesnt reflect the reality of the general public..for example if i was a criminal republican that likes to lie and mislead the public and wanted a skewed poll, i could order a sample of 1000 registered voters from a part of town a high class expensive neighborhood that has shown to have voted exclusively republican and then manufacture a 'poll' that reflects an opinion of registered voters that doesnt necessarily reflect the views of the majority of people.Be careful about these types of skewed polls. The reality is that the majority of Americans do not agree with the current bush presidency or this illegal war in iraq.. sample 100 young people off the street a large majority of these people do not agree with the war or the decisions or policies of the current administration. When you faced with polls from republican spinsters,, be aware and teach and educate others on how they conduct their misleading campaigns. Also theres a huge base of independent voters who dont even show up in polls as they arent registered voters. a huge majority of good americans fall in this category and everyone needs to inform and get people out in the next election in November 2004 to exercise democracy and voice their vote.
