CONTRACTS
NAVY
Force Protection Industries, Inc., Ladson, S.C., is being awarded an $88,860,348 firm-fixed-price modification under previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5031) for a 12-month renewal of 240 field service representatives to install liner blanket kits, install modernization safety kits, and conduct general maintenance work on the Cougar Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle fleet supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Work will be performed in the theater of operations throughout Afghanistan, and is expected to be completed December 31, 2012. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo Texas, is being awarded $37,582,267 for delivery order 0015 under previously awarded cost- plus-fixed-fee contract (N00383-10-D-003N) for the repair of various components for the V-22 aircraft. Work will be performed in Roanoke, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2013. The Navy Working Capital Funds being used will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded a $10,441,880 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-08-G-0013) for non-recurring engineering, highly accelerated life test, and integrated logistics services required to complete Part II Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 6515-E-022 for the MH-60R helicopter. ECP 6515-E-022 will integrate the Airborne Low Frequency Sonar Digital Transducer Assembly into MH-60Rs. Work will be performed in Brest, France (64 percent), and Portsmouth, R.I. (36 percent), and is expected to be completed in October 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an $8,093,981 firm-fixed-price modification to a previously issued delivery order placed against basic ordering agreement (N00019-11-G-0001) to exercise an option for engineering and maintenance support for the integration testing of engineering changes for the T-45 aircraft. Work will be performed at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in December 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
DEFENSE THREAT REDUCTION AGENCY
ENSCO, Inc., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $70,251,671, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for contractor support to maintain a comprehensive Balanced Survivability Assessment Blue Team Program for conducting assessments on critical national/theater mission systems, networks, architectures, infrastructures, and assets as requested by the Department of Defense and federal agencies. The location of performance is Fort Belvoir, Va., and is expected to be completed Sept. 18, 2016. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively solicited through the Internet, and two proposals were received. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (HDTRA1-12-C-0019).
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Carestream Health, Inc., Rochester, N.Y., was issued a modification exercising the third option year on contract SPM2D1-09-D-8308/P00017. The award is a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $63,159,127 for imaging systems, subsystems, and components. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. There were 43 responses to the Web solicitation. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012/2013 Defense Working Capital Funds. The date of performance completion is Dec. 15, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
