Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service appointment:
Charles L. Beames has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service as strategic advisor, space and intelligence, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics), Washington, D.C. Beames previously served as a colonel in the U.S. Air Force.
