Ex-Goldman director Gupta surrenders: report
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Rajat Gupta surrendered to federal authorities to face charges of leaking insider information to Galleon Group founder Raj Rajaratnam, the Associated Press reported Wednesday. Gupta is a former director of Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and former leader of McKinsey & Co. Reports of Gupta's arrest surfaced earlier in The Wall Street Journal. Rajaratnam, the former billionaire hedge fund manager, was recently sentenced to 11 years in jail.
