Pres. Obama signs the Daniel Pearl Freedom of Press Act, in honor of the late Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and killed in Pakistan in 2002. The bill is designed to provide more protections for journalists around the world and increases efforts to identify countries where freedom of the press is being violated.
