Patricia Sullivan talked about Robert Kennedy and the civil rights movement of the 1960s. She spoke about his early encounters with racism and the evolution of his politics and principles. Robert Kennedy served as U.S. Attorney General during his brother's administration, and in the U.S. Senate from 1965 to '68, when he was assassinated while campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination. This event took place at the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research at Harvard University.
