Panelists talked about intelligence and counterterrorism efforts domestically and internationally. Eliot Abrams named Syria as "jihadi central" and the area of greatest concern for future terror threats, and that the U.S. should also focus on on Mali and North and Sub-saharan Africa as well. Other topics included security cameras and monitoring public spaces, and the Boston Marathon bombings. This discussion was part of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) centennial summit.
