Justice Stevens Retires (Sat.)
from C-SPAN Recent Video Friday, Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens announced that he’s retiring from the Court at the end of the term. C-SPAN recently interviewed Justice Stevens. He gave a guided tour of his Supreme Court chambers, talked about his life on the Court, and the role of a Supreme Court Justice. President Ford nominated Justice Stevens to the Court in 1975. He’s 89 years old and has served on the Court for 34 years.
