Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen Press Conference on Gulf Oil Spill
Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen said it could be at least three days before BP is able to install a new pipe for collecting oil from it’s broken well at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. Admiral Allen is the top government official in the Gulf. He also talked about new areas where oil is being discovered and the efforts to prevent it from coming on shore.
