Pres. Obama Statement on Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill
The President visited the Gulf Coast of Louisiana to get an update on the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. He started his day with a tour of Fourchon Beach, where he saw the tarballs created when the crude oil combines with sand. He then received an update from Incident Commander Thad Allen and delivered remarks at the Coast Guard Station at Grand Isle.
