Required Monthly Test (RMT) Case StudyYou’re invited to a discussion with EAS device subject matter experts that will provide clarity on EAS device instructions and procedures for receiving and relaying the EAN as well as general EAS Messages. This discussion will also include a case study presentation on the recent August 24, 2011 Puerto Rico Emergency Management Agency Originated RMT.

In order to prepare EAS Participants for the November 9, 2011 Nationwide EAS Test, FEMA IPAWS, the FCC, and NOAA are partnering with industry leaders and experts to draft a comprehensive technical best practices guide on end-to-end National EAS message procedures.
