Krueger has wealth of experience, Obama says
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Alan Krueger brings a wealth of experience to the job of chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, President Barack Obama said Monday. Obama nominated Krueger, a Princeton University labor economist, to the post on Monday. Krueger previously served as an assistant Treasury secretary in the Obama administration. Obama said he has "nothing but confidence" in Krueger, and Obama said he will unveil steps next week to grow the economy and create jobs.
