On Wednesday, June 22nd, Attorney General Eric Holder addressed attendees at the 2011 National Institute of Justice conference.
On the conference's final day, Attorney General Holder told an audience of approximately 800 academic leaders and practitioners that research is the path to making well-informed, cost-effective decisions. He reiterated his commitment to identifying and implementing evidence-based solutions and to working together to strengthen public safety.
Whether we are protecting children from violence or solving issues about untested sexual assault kits, the Attorney General said scientific advances can significantly expand our capacity to serve our communities.
