Dear Pennsylvania,

Just a reminder that at the Democratic State Committee meeting on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort – 777 Waterwheel Drive, Seven Springs, PA 15622, we will be **holding elections for the following PAYD offices:

1.) President,
2.) Executive Vice-President (cannot be from same county as the President)
3.) National Committeeman
4.) National Committeewoman (cannot be from the same county as National Committeeman)
5.) Treasurer
6.) Recording Secretary
7.) Corresponding Secretary
8.) Parliamentarian
9.) Central Regional Vice President
10.) Eastern Regional Vice President
11.) Western Regional Vice President

Please also consider this the notice for a **Constitutional Convention on May 21st to consider changes to the PAYD Constitution to be put in place after the June 2011 election. We are also seeking YD's who would like to serve on the Statewide Committee tasked with suggesting such changes to the constitution. Please submit a paragraph to: president@payd.org, saying why you want to serve and a few ideas of for changes. We will have no more than 11, including the chair. A copy of the constitution may be obtained at the same e-mail address above.

As Young Democrats, now is the time to take what we know about the world and change it to what we know it can and should be. Organizing for 2011 and 2012 has begun and now is the time to get involved to help lead the fight for positive change in Pennsylvania and the United States.
