OCC Reports Fourth Quarter Trading Revenue of $3.5 Billion

Commercial banks reported trading revenue of $3.5 billion in the fourth quarter of 2010, 80 percent higher than the fourth quarter of 2009 and 17 percent lower than the third quarter of 2010, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency reported today in the OCC's Quarterly Report on Bank Trading and Derivatives Activities.
