Texas Young Democrats Convention- Apr 1-3
Hello Group, I hope everyone made it through spring break and you're ready for classes to resume tomorrow!

As those that have attended our meetings know, we're trying to get to the Texas Young Democrats (TYD) Convention in the beginning of April.

This convention is a great way to network, mix and mingle with young democrats of all sorts (college groups and older), and a great way to learn about campaigning and all the work that goes into the process after the campaign is over. It also happens to be in Austin, Texas.

If you think this sounds like your type of event, we have great news: You can go with us!

All we need is help from you to get the group there. Your membership dues to the group ($20) pay for your hotel stay in Austin and gas to get to the convention, and once you go to the TYD website ( http://www.facebook.com/l/93c7bfvnnFr1N ... asyds.com/) and register with them as a student ($25), You're good to go!

I know $45 may seem like a bit much to some, but this is a great opportunity to further your Democratic goals.
