Upcoming CTYD Executive Board Elections & NE Region Convention!
Just a friendly reminder:


We encourage everyone to think about the upcoming elections for the Connecticut Young Democrats' Executive Board positions. The positions of CTYD President, Executive Vice President, VP of Organization and Development, VP of Finance and VP of Political Affairs will all be up for election in April. It is important that dedicated members run for each of these positions and we hope you consider it. If you have any questions about the responsibilities of the officers, feel free to contact Stephanie at ctydpresident@gmail.com.


**** VERY IMPORTANT ****


In order to be eligible to run in the election YOU MUST submit an email declaring your intention to run to our CTYD Secretary, Kate Shea at ctydsecretary@gmail.com by Friday, February 18, 2011. Failure to do this will disqualify you as a candidate according to our by-laws.


Competitive elections are healthy for an organization. Don't be afraid to submit your name for one or more positions. If you have any interest at all, please consider submitting a letter of intent - you can decide not to run at any time before the election. But, you must submit a letter of intent before the deadline, or you will not be able to run.
