Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Navy Rear Adm. James P. Wisecup for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and assignment as Inspector General, Department of the Navy, Washington, D.C. Wisecup is currently serving as president, Naval War College, Newport, R.I.
