West Virginia Special Election Set West Virginia will hold a special election for governor on Oct. 4 to fill the seat vacated by Sen. Joe Manchin, the Charleston Gazette reports.
The state joins Louisiana, Kentucky and Mississippi in holding gubernatorial race this year.
