Subject: Two events coming up

Right, events.
First: tomorrow night, July 1st, is a reception for young Democratic candidates over at Manuel's Tavern on North Highland starting at 6:30. These are great meet-and-greet events, plus the food is excellent, the drinks are good and the environment is nice. Point of personal privilege: I hung out with Haley Stark last weekend. She's awesome. She's running in a very red part of South Georgia.

Second: the campaign of Carol Porter for lieutenant governor needs help! They need volunteers especially to phone bank. Wednesday nights are the standard night for doing so, between 6 to 9, out of Mary Margaret Oliver's (hey! She's my state rep!) office in Decatur. That's at 150 East Ponce de Leon, Suite 230
