Pakistan: New RAND Report on Counterinsurgency in Pakistan, Brookings Report on Education and Militancy in Pakistan, and AEI Report: Can the Taliban Take Over Pakistan's Punjab Province?
The Pakistan MiPAL has been updated with a report from the United Kingdom's House of Commons analyzing the role of Pashtuns in the Obama Administration's policy for the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, remarks by the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan at a meeting of the U.S.-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue Chairpersons, a RAND Corporation report examining the evolution of militancy in Pakistan, assessing Pakistan's counterinsurgency efforts, and presenting policy recommendations for the enhancement of Pakistani operations against militants, a Brookings Institution report assessing the links between education and militancy in Pakistan, and an American Enterprise Institute report evaluating the strategic implications of the growth of terrorist and Taliban activity in Pakistan's Punjab province.
