A message from Lakisha Watson-Moore, Chair of the YDA Veterans & Military Affairs Caucus and of course... my twin

Dear Caucus Members,

The YDA Veteran’s and Military Affairs Caucus would like to commemorate Memorial Day 2010 by honoring the valor of all of our brothers and sisters who gave their lives for our country. We honor military families, whom have unselfishly sacrificed their loved ones for our freedoms we enjoy. We honor our veterans and active duty servicemen, who are stationed here and all over the world.

Today, take the time to honor veterans or active duty members.
On a personal note, I want to say thanks my both of my grandfathers, my uncles, my relatives and all my friends for their service in the military.

Remember, Memorial Day isn't about hot dogs and one day sales. It is a day for us to remember those who gave their time and sacrificed their life for our freedom.

Today and every day is a day for us to say thank you.
