The China MiPAL has been updated with State Department releases detailing the outcomes of the strategic track of the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue, featuring the U.S.-China Joint Statement on Energy Security Cooperation, and outlining the cultural and technological objectives of the new U.S.-China Consultation on People-to-People Exchange, remarks by the President, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Vice Premier of China, and the State Councilor of China from the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue, a hearing before the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission analyzing developments in China's military aerospace capabilities and aviation industrial complex and evaluating the associated civil and military implications for the U.S., a Danish Institute for International Studies report assessing the potential impact of China's claim of sovereignty over almost all of the South China Sea on China's neighborhood relations and alignments in the Asia-Pacific region, and a Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments report exploring potential U.S. reactions to China's rising military power in the Western Pacific Theater of Operations (WPTO).
