The Near East and North Africa Regional Policy Overview has been updated with an article from the National Defense University's publication PRISM: A Journal of the Center for Complex Operations assessing the fundamental challenges facing Yemen and detailing possible solutions, a State Department release on U.S. relief efforts for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, Government Accountability Office reports outlining recent U.S. assistance efforts to the West Bank and Gaza and examining U.S. assistance for Palestinian Authority security forces, remarks by a State Department official on the implications of U.S. ballistic missile defense policy for Israel's security, reports from the Brookings Institution analyzing the impact of Egypt's media landscape on domestic politics and assessing the influence of past experiences on the Palestinian approach towards the current peace process, a Middle East Institute report reviewing the current political situation in Morocco, a RAND Corporation report analyzing the sociocultural, political, and military aspects of the conflict between the Government of Yemen and the Huthis of northern Yemen, and a Carnegie Endowment for International Peace report assessing the impact of the conflict in Saada on Yemen's stability.
