YDA Southeast Regional Training will take place May 14-16 in sunny Tampa, Florida! The Florida Young Democrats will be having their annual convention the same weekend in conjunction with this Training.

I am excited to announce that the DNC is sending A'shanti Fayshel Gholar of the DNC Youth Council as one of our featured trainers. The Training Academy is designed to help state chapters with various aspects of running a state YD chapter from communications to fundraising to membership to program ideas. These skills are also useful in running local chapters.

The Southeast Regional Training will take place May 14-16 at the Embassy Suites near Busch Gardens and the campus of the University of South Florida in Tampa. Suites are only $109 a night!

Many of your states have already had conventions to elect new leadership. There will be quite a few new faces at the next National Meeting in Washington, DC scheduled for July 16-18. The Southeast Region has always had a friendly Southern-style family atmosphere.
