Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Navy Rear Adm. Nora W. Tyson for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and for assignment as deputy commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Va. Tyson is currently serving as vice director, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
