Champions For Our Values

Postby admin » Fri Sep 21, 2012 11:32 am

Friends,
When we launched Kucinich Action, we did so because we knew this movement was about more than one leader or one campaign. It was about you. Giving you the tools you need to stand up and be heard. Giving you the power to challenge entrenched decision-making processes. Allowing you to retake our democracy.
You are the heart and soul of this movement, and you are our eyes and ears in communities across the country. Today, we need your help. We need you to tell us who are the champions for change, the leading voices for peace, liberty and social justice, that we should be supporting in this election. People who we desperately need as allies in the next Congress.

Click here to let us know who the leaders are that we should endorse in this election.

We all need to fight for those who are running to truly transform our nation and our world. Voices for peace and justice who are not afraid to buck their party if it means standing up for their principles. These are the champions that our movement needs to support.
We know that there's a lot at stake in this election and, in the final weeks, there is a lot of temptation for candidates to say exactly what the party leadership wants. But this isn't about what political party you belong to. It's about fighting for what's right: for universal healthcare coverage for ALL, standing up for worker's rights, saying no to new wars in Libya and Iran and yes to bringing our troops home from Afghanistan. It's about rebuilding our nation with investments in roads and bridges and ending wasteful military spending, protecting our civil liberties and saving our environment.
This is what Kucinich Action is all about and over the next 46 days we will support candidates who stand for the principles and values of our movement. Please, help us get started today, and nominate the candidates you'd like to see us endorse. We can't do it without you.

Together, we will continue this effort.
Sincerely,

Dennis Kucinich
